Alfa-Bank places complete bond issue

Alfa-Bank has placed its debut five-year bond issue worth RUB 5bn (approx. USD 170m) in full, the lending institution announced today.

Earlier, the bank announced that the annual rates of the first through sixth coupons had been set at 8.25 percent. In absolute terms, the coupon payment will amount to RUB 41.14 (approx. USD 1.4) on one bond with a par value of RUB 1,000 (approx. USD 34).

As part of the bond placement, two related-party transactions were concluded totaling RUB 310m (approx. USD 10.6m) that required approval of the board of directors. The approval was issued on Monday.
